Distillery and Product Info:

Glenrothes Distillery which started producing in 1897 is perhaps one of Speyside’s “classics”. Located in Rothes, Morayshire, it is currently owned by The Edrington Group, which also owns the world-famous Macallan and Highland Park Distilleries.

Nose: Caramelised pineapple, dark chocolate, marzipan and black cherries

Taste: Crystallised fruits, peach, gingerbread, caramel and sweet bourbon notes

Finish: Long finish, Grapefruit, salted biscuits, peppery. But also hints of morello cherries and fruit cake
